2014 - One World Trade Center opens, replacing the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City.
1948 - Lulu was born. She is a Scottish singer, songwriter, actress, TV personality and businesswoman. She was popular in the UK in the 1960s. She became popular in the United States when in 1967 she appeared in "To Sir With Love" (below) and sang the title song. She also sang the title song from "The Man With the Golden Gun" in 1974. She has had an active career from 1964 to the present time.
1952 - Roseanne Barr was born. She is an American actress, comedian, writer and television producer. She started her career in stand-up comedy and then appeared in the title role in "Roseanne" from 1988-1997 and 2018. "Roseanne" was cancelled after Barr made a Tweet that was considered racist by many commentators and fans.

I used to adore Roseanne, I still do as a creator because she honestly formed my sense of humor, my wit, and everything else when I grew up watching her show, but she as a person is not so great and that is so unfortunate.
