No Drink November

How’s your Tuesday going? So this is something I do once in a while, where I go “dry” for a month. Lately, plainly put, I have been drinking too much. Not binge drinking, but drinking 3-4-5 beers on my off days and with dinner has become my routine. I’ve been trying a lot of new craft, local beers too. I have tried pumpkin pale ale (yum!), peanut butter porters, a variety of stouts, a Carmel-toffee stout (not as sweet as you would think)- anyway, adventurous. But despite exercise and mostly eating right, lately I have been gaining a little weight too. So- I actually started on October 26th a “no drink November” to kick off some weight loss and clean myself out. Plus, I just need a break! So far I have lost only 1.2 pounds, but that’s not really the point. Sad that it has only been 10 or 11 days and I am already excited my next beer- in about 20 days. LOL! Do you ever do stuff like this?

Sounds good to go a month without drinking. I have not drank in years. I quit years ago and have not went back.

Until last week I hadnt really drunk in six months. We just arent big drinkers. We may decide to drink some more this weekend. Depends on what the weekend holds, and how much Jaeger is legt.

I don't drink that often, but I have done this with sodas. I drink socially, so maybe once a month or less? I'll be drinking this weekend.
