Nick Pizio is one happy dog owner who thought that his beloved pet dog named Lucy who vanished from his life after he and his former wife broke up, he thought that he would never see again in his lifetime. Lo and behold, when Paul and his friend Shannon McCann read on Facebook about a pet adoption event that was sponsored by Planned Parenthood at a local PetSmart store in Rossford, he was praying that the image of one of the dogs in the ad was his dog Lucy who must have taken to an animal shelter by his former wife. Nick and his companion Shannon went to PetSmart to see if he would be able to reunite with his former pet Lucy. I can imagine the happiness of his face when Lucy recognized him at the PetSmart store. Nick and his companion Shannon this time made sure that Luc would be their pet dog by signing papers of adoption. Lucy is now the companion of a Husky dog named Kuma, The best part of this story is even though Nick had no intention of adopting another dog, he could not pass up a chance to reunite with Lucy.

That is a nice story to hear that it ended very good for them. Losing a pet may be very stressful and reuniting them is really a very good feeling. Good thing that the dog still recognized her.

I agree with you about the loss of a pet causing mental harm as well as a reunion being a sweet feeling for the owner of Lucy who returned to his home after four years.

For a dog lover like us, this is big deal because pets are like members of the family too.
