The Switch

Made a switch from the common liquid shampoo to a shampoo bar. I am using mostly organic products because I have sensitive and allergy prone skin. So trying a shampoo bar was not far from my thought. And yes, its been a month of using a bar. At first, I don't like it. It feels heavy and way too sticky on my hair. But I guess, it just takes a little getting used to or my hair is still adjusting from the switch. Now it doesn't feel as heavy as before and my hair feels good after, even without a conditioner. I think its a lot healthier now.

@pitsipeahie Not all products work for everyone.

@LadyDuck True. Every individual is unique and has their own needs. What works for me may not work for you and vice versa.

This is the first time that I've heard of a shampoo bar. Is it herbal or organic?

@Alexandoy Yes, there are shampoo bars for that purpose like gugo/aloevera shampoo bars that help hair grow thicker. Mine is with argan oil for hair softening and shine.

Its organic. Doesn't have any of those sulfates and other chemicals. Not to mention environment friendly too

Shampoo bars are slowly gaining popularity now especially in the advent of eco-friendly products.

I go for the organic one. But if the liquid one is also organic that's fine but shampoo bar last longer than liquid (in my experience). So, bar for me!
. For now, I don't see myself going back to the usual liquid shampoo especially those store brought famous brand. My products are mostly organic now. Aside that its better because its all-natural, more importantly its eco-friendly. In my own small way, I feel that I'm doing my part to not contribute anymore to our enormous plastic trash problem.

@pitsipeahie Thanks for this. I'll ask my mom if she could buy me one to try.
