Talk about working for a boss that has a heart of gold in rewarding on his employees for working for him for 13 years. Rudy Quinones who is the owner of Renown Auto Restoration in San Antonio Texas decided to assist his employee Albert Brigas who announced that he was ready to retire from his work early next year after the balance of his home mortgage would be finished which was around $5,000 dollars. Quinones decided to honor the request of one of his best employees who served in Vietnam for his dedication to doing his best as a mechanic at the workplace. Brigas who is 69 years of age served in the U S Air Force as an aircraft mechanic who was able to use his experience in the military to good use at an auto shop in Texas. It is nice to see a Vietnam War veteran be rewarded by his boss who is friends with the Brigas family reward him by paying off his mortgage bills so Brigas can spend his retirement years watching his grandchildren grow into adulthood.

Quinones believes that Brigas earned his mortgage payoff check since he was on his best employees who worked for him for 13 years.

The only bosses that I know of that assist their employees are the owners of the major sports teams in America.

@Janet357 I know what you mean since former employer was not known for giving out huge amounts of money for his employees.

It reminds of some former sports team owners who treated their millionaire sports stars like their own children by giving them bonus money for working for them.
