I did it!

Since early this year, I've been thinking of getting myself a Moment Lens for my phone, particularly the Macro lens. I owned a cheap one but it lasted for a few months only and though I was able to take great macro shots with it, a real photographer can tell its quality. And I wasn't satisfied with it. It was July when I told myself I should get then lens. It's $99.99 plus I have to get then phone case to attach then lens to at $19.99, so that's a a total of $119.98 plus tax. It's not cheap actually and somebody from India told me that it's already the price of his phone but I have made up my mind already. But when I went to the website, I didn't click "checkout." Because I realized, that I am going to change my phone again when iPhone releases a new one come fall season. And then fall came, and then I finally received a message that my new phone is on the way. That's when I went to the Moment website and saw that the lens were on sale at 15% off which is rare and the new iPhone case was at 20% off because it was pre-order! My patience paid off and I was able to save a few bucks! How long do you think about something before finally making a purchase?

I live in the same country as yours and I change my iPhone to the latest one every year and I get the most expensive models. It's worth every penny. My husband and son use iPhones too but my son decided to stop changing his phone when he got the iPhone X.

@Alexandoy iPhone X is an old phone. Two years ago. It was the very first edge to edge iPhone model they introduced for their 10th year anniversary. I also recently gifted my niece an iPhone 11. All my friends are using iPhone and most of them are the latest models as well.

@toniganzon my nephew has an iPhone but I think it is an iPhone 5 or iPhone 6. I haven't seen one using an iPhone X among my circle.

@Tina30219 Sure it does. I usually tell myself that it's not meant for me when it's sold out.

Yeah that's the bad part about waiting. But I know the moment lenses will never run out of stock and I was pretty certain I'm going to get it but I just didn't know when.

The lens was actually already delivered last November 1st but I still couldn't use it because they haven't delivered then phone case yet. Moment phone lens is popular among photographers.

Well that's great that your patience paid off! =) I think about it for quite a long time since we have 5 kids. Example, I really want to purchase materials for props for my photography studio but I have to wait until we have the funds.

I think my problem is that I always have funds. That's why I usually don't think long and hard. And the reason I didn't buy the lens immediately is simply because I knew that I change my phone every year. But I only buy things that I really really like.

My friend is really into branded bags and one time she was itching to buy this costly vintage bag. She saw it on a store display and bought it without second thought. The next day, it was sold at 50% discount. Ouch!~

Sometimes I spend so long thinking about something that I decide I don't need it after all.

That would be even much better. There's this shopaholic person who's addicted to shopping online and she gave a sound advice. She said, put everything you like in the cart and just live it there for a day. Go back the following day and see if you're still willing to buy it. Sometimes I do that. But most of the time when I really like something, I immediately purchase it without thinking.
