Pancake Bear....

Not too long ago I was looking up cute and / or cool breakfast designs and I saw someone had made a bear out of pancakes. Not that I do it often but I love to be creative with food sometimes. So I decided to give this a try for fun. It's not completely the same as what I saw online but that was only due to not having the smaller chocolate chips for the mouth.
But otherwise I'm happy with how this turned out. Even if he has no mouth lol And I accidentally smudged a bit of his left paw.

Aww, that is so cute, just like you! You did a great job on your bear pancake, and what a great idea! I wish I would have thought of this when my kids were little! Now if I could just reach through the computer screen and eat it up!

@moffittjc aww how sweet! I think I've told you that I've never had that before. I'm sure I did as a kid but no one else has done anything like that before. I'd probably cry lol ( in a happy way )

@nela13 The first big two pancakes was a fluke lol I just poured the mix into the middle and kept it flowing until it's the size I wanted. As for the other circles? I used a cup and pushed it into the pancake like a stencil or cookie cutter.

@hereandthere I did consider using some more chocolate chips for the mouth but I didn't like how it was going to look. It would have looked too crowded.
But the blueberries for buttons would have been cute though!

@VivaLaDani13 Well, we will see in about two weeks when we head back south to Sacramento. As cute as it is, I cannot imagine anyone not liking it. They may not eat it but they will love looking at it.
