Another School Shooting

This time it is in Santa Clarita at Saugus High School. One dead and at least four injured. I’ll tell you that it scares me knowing that this could very well happen at Little Miss or E’s school, but I cannot allow them to live in such a place of fear still it is scary.
Right now though my heart and my prayers go out to the Victims of the Saugus High School Shooting and all those who are going to be dealing with the aftermaths...
Authorities captured a suspect, described as a 16-year-old boy, in a shooting that injured at least five people at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita.

It's awful, all those shootings in schools. Fortunately, it never happened in my country, but we never know what and when can happen, right?

My heart sinks - this was in the next county over - just a half hour from us. My friend's kids go there (thank goodness they are ok) and I have other friends who live nearby with younger kids in surrounding schools. This one just hit too close to home - I can't shake this off today.

When I woke up this morning, I opened twitter and saw Reese Witherspoon's tweet about praying for the parents and students of Sta Clarita and the first thing that came into my mind was, another shooting! And now you just confirmed it.
I don't know why it's happening in schools in America. I have nieces in New Jersey but their parents are planning to move them back in the Philippines after high school.
