I Had A Discussion With Little Miss

The other day I was talking to Little Miss and I told her when I was ready to upgrade my phone (In a few months) I would let her have my old phone, she asks me if she was to young for an IPhone! I told her that in the last couple of months she has proved to be trustworthy, that she takes good care of the phone now when I let her use it.
I know some people are totally against kids having phones but I am not one of those people, especially after last year with that incident, I want her to be able to call for help if she should ever need to.
There is a kid plan through my phone company so I will have control just as I do with E’s phone, but E too has proved himself trustworthy.
So yes she may get my phone when I upgrade but it’s not happening wow, and it’s more about knowing that she is safe.,,

She won’t be taking it to school she’ll be using it here we’ve had that discussion! And she’ll take it on trips in case she should ever get separated from the group. Something terrifying happened last year, thank God her Mother was there or it could have been much much worse...

Students in my son's school are never allowed to use their phones the whole day while in school. When they are caught, the phones are confiscated and only the parents can claim it.

11 isn't so bad. I hate to see really young kids on the phone continuously.

No, she actually tried to convince me to get her a phone when she turned six, so she got a Nook with all kinds of kids books loaded onto it, and educational games, she loved it..

Little Miss deserves it. I gave my son an iPhone when he was 10 years old I think and no he didn't abuse it.
