A kidnapping of a cat named Batman ends with a happy ending for the cat

I guess the D C Comics character Batman is so popular that a cat who lives in Brookhaven Pennsylvania at a Pet Smart store had the misfortune of being kidnapped by a male and female couple earlier this month. The not for profit group that is working on reducing the homeless pet population called Forgotten Cats placed the story pf the kidnaped feline who is suffering from a chronic liver condition on Facebook. The Brookhaven Police worked on the case by using a video surveillance camera that captured the two persons who are accused of stealing the cat from the store since the license plate number was the only clue that the police could go on. Even though Pet Smart had no plans to seek charges against the cat thieves since they were offering a reward of $2,100 dollars for the safe return of Batman, the police are in the process of deciding whether to press charges against the couple at this time even though Batman was not harmed by them. Imagine that. Kidnapping a black cat who is named after one of the faces of D C Comics which is Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
