A narrow escape early morning.....

That's how people are in morning rush. Today I had a narrow escape in the early morning traffic. And these are the moments when I thank myself for being a very safe driver. Trust me I did not only save my new car but also the bike rider from falling on the road. These youth have to learn that life and rides are not only about being fast but also safe and slow when you need to be. You can not go zooming at the turn especially on a narrow road when there might be a vehicle coming from opposite direction. I am still to come out of that moment. It was really a narrow escape and I know if I was in a bit more speed, he would have got into a real bad accident. Thankfully there were no vehicles in immediate back else with that sudden brake I might have got hit from back. He looked like one in late teen and the id card hanging in his neck showed that he was going to nearby college. Phew! I am still to get out of the moment. These youth have to understand that there are parents and family back home and their life matters to them. I always visualize my daughter in that place and that scares me. Now I am here having some time at hand to mylot before I get ready for work. Not much in plan for the day. I will just answer all notifications or as much as I can in next 40 minutes. I have 200 of them and I am grateful to everyone here who pour in notifications for me.

So this is the reason why you forgot about the day off. Just be glad that no one was injured. Riders of 2 wheels are also our biggest headache on the roads here. They cross your path when they life not minding that it is a car that can kill them.

@arunima25 being rude to him would imprint in his mind. That's my point and I am not rude just because I am angry. I deliberate use strong words as a lesson for them.

Yes they do not care about their lives. If I would have hit today, he would have suffered the maximum injury. I would have just got some dent on my car. He was in his late teen. When I gave him a stare he looked embarrassed and even apologized. I hope he is careful from now on.

@Alexandoy I too would have done that. But he seemed apologetic to me. I looked at him. He looked a little older than my elder daughter. I just asked him to be careful next time.

I'm glad all went safe. Thes bike drivers simply don't care to look around when flying their aeroplanes.

And When I look at those late teens and youths, I think like a mother. Next year my daughter would be sixteen in other few months. We are planning to give her a two wheeler to commute for all classes and tuition that she might take. I want her to be as independent as she can be but follow the rules and safety.

@arunima25 any sensible person will drive safely. But we can't do anything about the idiots loitering on the road.

Those young people obviously forget that they have family that will be worry at home. Either they are in hurry or they think it's cool. I always remind my younger brother to always drive safely and go early so he won't be in hush hush while driving.

I think it's more of feeling cool. When I stopped the car and gave him a worried look, he was embarrassed. He even moved his lips to say Sorry. I hope he is careful now on wards. This should come as a tough lesson. That's a wise advise that you give to your brother.
