I read a shocking news today .
Sources : Times of India and Washingtontimes
Fritz von Weizsaecker, son of former German president Richard von Weizsaecker was stabbed to death while he was giving a lecture at a hospital in Berlin. He was 59 years old, and was the head physician at the hospital.
The attcker has been held, though his name has not been revealed may be due to legal reasons.
Richard von Weizsaecker became West Germany’s head of state in 1984 and when the country was unified, became the first president of the new nation, serving until 1994. He died in 2015.
May God bless peace to the departed man.
Yet what I am thinking and talking about is much more.
Has Lord/Bhagwan/Allah/WaheGuru, or whatever we call our Gods send us to kill others?
To spread hate?
Or to become senseless, and kill anyone.
What was the fault of this person who was killed?
That he belonged to the family of a German president? That he was presumably rich?
Or that he was a big doctor?
And yes, are our modern societies failing to inculcate respect of life among men and women?
Are the mothers ever talking about value of life?
Are we as fathers telling about doing good deeds to our sons and daughters?
Don't we have any duty as friends, brother/sisters, wife/husband etc or even being just neighbors.
Or have we become too big in numbers to lose our sanity and forget about the sanity of life??
Think... Think ..... or do we just give up and push the "self-destruct" button??
