Sad waste of dog food

Few days ago I wanted to try something new and bought three types of dog food. One of them is organic. But then when I presented to them, none of them wants to eat it. That's when I realized that you don't just introduce them new dog food or it could give problem Except the one female one who recently got sick, I think the vitamins was working on her. Now I give them all vitamins to increase their appetite. When it comes to wet food I'm not putting much anymore so they won't have stomach problems.

We usually stick to the same type of dog food. In the past we bought him other kinds of food, but he didn't want to eat it. We tried to mix the old and the new food, but he didn't eat the new food.

@Letranknight2015 Sometimes dogs just don't like the food and they don't touch it. In the past we wasted money on food, because our dog didn't want to eat it. Maybe you could to give the food to someone else if you know other dog owners.

It’s too bad you can’t find someone else who has a dog that will eat it? I hate to see things going to waste

Hello @maezee I was thinking of giving it to my brother's dog but they were not feeding them with dry dog food.

you do this slowly.Add the new one to the old one for awhile to get used to it.Not all at once

Its better to change slow. Sometimes they just do not like the food.

@Letranknight2015 I when you try something new on your pets and they refuse to eat it. I am glad that the vitamins worked on the female that was sick. I found with wet food when I only give it to my cat on special occasions in the morning she is fine but when I gave it to her for lunch it did not agree with her. We learn what from our animals.
