I really like learning how to slow down the effects of losing memory power by playing card and board games to keep our brains active as us humans reach our elderly years. A study from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland recently concluded a report that spans 68 years that by living a healthy lifestyle and keeping our minds occupied by playing a non video game keeps the minds of elderly people who reach the age of their 70s to be able to remember events sharper than others. It Is interesting since I do remember playing board games like Monopoly, checkers and chess as well as sports games during my relax time. It is nice that a university study has showed one way to enjoy our lives as we get past our social security years.
