We have lots of feral cats here in our village. Their number seems to grow and grow. Some of my neighbors feed them but they really do not have an owner or home. I do not hate cats but I generally prefer dogs and rabbits.
Yesterday, as I was hanging the clothes after laundry, I put out Charlie at the garage with his playpen house because I will clean it. My son was with me and playing with Charlie. I went back inside to wash the dishes. All the while I thought my son was with Charlie. After sometime, I heard a loud thug of the gate. I thought it was my nephew but no answer came when I called him. So out I go to the garage. At the garage was a big black and white cat trying to get to Charlie the baby bunny. Good thing Charlie was able to hop out of his playpen and was hopping around. Another good thing was there were a lot of blockage there like the playpen, the pail I used and laundry baskets so the cat was not able to easily get to Charlie.
I hope you are having a good day/night.

Wow, what a big surprise when you found out about the feral cat and your family! So glad everything was alright too.

@rakski
Me too. Stray animals are very unpredictable!

Cats can be dangerous to smaller animals. One neighbor complained to me last week that 8 of their chicks were killed by the stray cats here. I guess you have to put Charlie in a closed cage when you cannot attend to him.
