My oldest grandson has been living with me for most of the last 3 years . He has had some major issues with going to school .We have had to fight with him to get him to go for the last couple of years.
He always complains of his tummy hurting . He has had problems with his stomache for a very long time. They told us he has acid reflux . If he gets upset he throws up and etc.
Yesterday he came home from school because he had potty issues .I made him go to school today even though he said he was still having a problem . He called me from the school wanting to come home. So I told him I was calling the Dr because too many times absent can get us all in trouble. I got him an appointment and they excused him from school for today , yesterday and the first part of next week. The dr . is kind f worried because he found what felt like a mass to him . Cooper has to go in and have an ultra sound on his stomache on Tuesday.
I have been crying because I really thought he was just trying to get out of school .
So have you ever been so sure of something just to find out you were wrong?

A normal, healthy child doesn't want to stay at home alone. He wants to go to school to see his buddies. Constant stomach ache must be examined. What seems to be stomach ache can also come from the appendix.
There could also be bullying, so that he doesn't want to go to school. It can also be the reason for stomach ache. You should look into this.

Wait for the medical results first and let's all hope it's nothing serious. We all make mistakes , if it were me, I would probably hug Cooper and apologize.

I think most of us have at some time or other. I sure hope that everything will be ok with him.

Sorry to hear about that. It's good he's being treated. Don't worry everything would be fine.
