And who can blame Him? Blackhawks fans that live here in Denver are annoying enough as it is, I can only imagine what they are like in the hometown. Hell, I'd leave, too. All kidding aside (except, I'm not,) "Jesus Just Left Chicago" is a tasty little piece of gritty blues rock from ZZ Top's 1973 album (their 3rd,) Tres Hombres. It wasn't released as a single (the album's only single was their classic, "La Grange,") but damn if it's not one hell of a solid tune on one hell of a solid album. Tres Hombres was ZZ Top's breakout album, and rightfully so. As for where, exactly, Jesus went when He left Chicago is open for debate. Some say He headed for St. Louis, some say He's operating a used vinyl shop in Reno. All that's known for sure is that although He renews them every year, His Blackhawks season tickets have gone unused since 1973. (Info verified by Wikipedia)
