There I was thinking it was safe to start looking for lively Christmas songs when I ran across a real blast from the past. The song is called “Santa Got Lost in Texas” and it’s sung by Michael Landon. You remember him he was a cowboy on Bonanza, a hard-working dad on Little House on the Prairie and an angel on the Highway to Heaven. He made it finally to the highway to heaven and perhaps he’s an angel up there.
Anyway, this lively song is guaranteed to get you dancing the polka around your Christmas tree.

I did watch Bonanza as a child but didn't know about actors then. I was a fan of Little House on the Prairie, and that Highway to Heaven also popped on the tube nights when I was home, but wasn't able to follow all the episodes.
I like Michael Landon. He's a Pa.
First time I've heard of Santa getting lost and finds it real funny. Good song. Good video.
