Like Father Like Daughter / myLot

It was an enjoyable sight this morning when I set out a dish of milk for the cats here. I looked out and there was Silky with her father Tux happily lapping up the milk. They might not look alike but then Silky has her mother’s gray coloring.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Tux has always been an outside cat living here in the garden and my friends feed him. He was here before I came. Silky is one of the four kittens that were born here last April. She is the sister of the kitten that we lost who was run over Elvis. She is now lonely without her brother and her mother and two of the other kittens were given up for adoption.

@RasmaSandra Oh I see. Well I am glad that Silky and Tux are eating together, and hopefully playing together as well. Especially as she doesn't have any of her litter mates with her.

@ScribbledAdNauseum well Tux is an old cat he sleeps through his days. She now plays on her own. She and Elvis used to tumble around all day. I might adopt a cat about 2 - 3 years old as a Christmas present for myself but then I will keep him inside. Silky can come to visit and check him out,
