Kayla Palmer who is a cashier at a Best Buy in Spokane Washington is being praised by her managers for saving the life an elderly man who fainted while he was ready to pay for his items by using her first aid training since she currently working as an emergency technician as well as enrolling in school where she plans to be a nurse after graduation.
An elderly man was at her checkout lane when he passed out after he told her that he was dizzy and feeling faint when he collapsed and stopped breathing .
Kayla used her skills to give the elderly man CPR to revive him a minute later, she asked her co worker Martha Carter to assist her by giving the elderly man a wheelchair to assist him in his recovery from his health scare.
The irony is that since the day of the incident was Black Friday, Kayla had to work some extra hours which were a factor in her being there at the right place at the right time at the Best buy store.
Kayla being a modest person gave thanks to Martha for assisting her to get the elderly man comfortable after his brush with death.
I am sure that the management at Best Buy will reward her for her alert actions to save the life of a customer at the checkout line.

That is amazing that she was really destined to help that guy and use her skills in First Aid to help revive that person. I think if she was not there that guy may have passed away already since you said he stopped breathing. Only a few knowledgeable person can revive a person who passes out like that. I remember my Father in Law who fainted while driving he was not lucky that someone was there to do some First Aid on him that time. When he arrived at the hospital he was in a coma already and passed away several days after.

@Deepizzaguy Thanks all of it happen so sudden that we were caught unaware and unprepared. He is living there in NY and we are here in the Philippines. My wife flew to NY quite unprepared as well. Now everything is settled already after the quick burial and interment they have had there.
