Last Friday I asked my wife if she is willing to go to a massage that is different from most of the massages. I urged her see if we can schedule this Saturday and out of curiosity she inquired and got our spot at 3pm on last Saturday. Karada is unlike other massage parlor since they are more like Chiropractic in nature.
They like have a medical approach since before the massage they would interview you for your medical background to see if you have any problem or pain in the body and if you have medical conditions that they need to be aware of. Luckily I have no major health issues except for my neck pain and upper back.
So they started with my neck slight massage and feel where the paid was then they proceed with my head the kind of put pressure on certain parts of my head which felt so relaxing. The went back to my neck again only to pop it out and after that pop I felt so relieved and like all the pain is gone already. After that they proceeded to my upper back and putting pressure on every segment on my spine. Some were a bit painful but some were good. My masseure said I do not have major problem on my spine the reason that I do not feel any pain but most of my problem was mascular. That is good to know then.
After the 1 hour session. I felt quite relieved that after we arrived home I felt so sleepy and slept right away. But they advised us for a follow up session to really maintain that feeling. I would like to but it cost a bit high to avail of their services. So I guess I need to save some more to avail of the same services again.

Massage is our relaxant especially after a tiring day. But ours is the shiatsu which is more of hand pressure.

Shiatsu is more of muscle massage. Mine was more on muscle and the bone focused mostly on spine. It targetted on my neck pain mostly which I was impressed as I go with massages and they seem not to be able to pinpoint the cause of pain I have in my neck.

@rsa101 if the massage made you relaxed then that is good. There is a massage that can make you feel tense, that is not good. I experienced that in a Thai massage that has too much stretching.

@rsa101 this is the first time that I've heard of Karada. Incidentally a new massage is opening soon just 2 blocks away from our house.

Chiropractic therapy is needed for my fibromyalgia. I'm suffering from it and making my life difficult. People are not understanding of it especially when I miss work. But it is painful condition. However, I dont know how to fight really good and effective chiro therapists. And it may be costly as well.

Yeah I have known them for sometime already. It took me this long to really avail of their services because of the price. I am glad I was not disappointed with the service. That is the usual massage I also avail the Swedish massage. But those are just muscular massage and does not really focus on the spinal area.

@amitkokiladitya I think there were soreness afterwards but that is to be expected since muscles and bones were somewhat adjusted.

Good that you enjoyed the session and it helped you with your pain. But you are right that they can be a costly affair.

@rsa101 And one session will not make much difference. I wish they were affordable.

First time to hear of this kind of massage. 1 hour session is not enough and it feels really good

I heard of them a long time ago. I only availed today since I have extra cash to spend and try them out. It was really good since I could instantly felt relieved after the massage but its effectivity won't last long since it needs follow up massages to really correct the adjustments. They could not make it in one session only.

True I tried it to see the difference with the usual massage offered around. This one is quite unique their approach is kind of scientific since they will interview you for any medical condition you may have so they can adjust the massage they apply on you.
