Stubbornly Talented and Pretty

My Daughter Abby Joy's attitude is sometimes hard to handle. She does not obey when we've told her to stop on things like playing almost non-stop but she's very talented. At two and nine months she can sing our national anthem. At three, she's not afraid to sing a "Let It Go" song and dance as well in front of a big crowd. Now, she's eight and doing great in her school. Always participating in every school activity. Yeah, she's quite stubborn on things but surely talented and pretty.

You have a lovely daughter. Very normal, too.
That is not stubbornness that she is exhibiting. Her passion for expressing her talents is currently irrepressible. And you must be happy your daughter is fit and healthy. A quiet and inactive child usually has malady.
Give her more activities so she would get tired and go to sleep. Chocolates can stimulate hyper mood, so refrain from coco drinks Give her warm milk bedtime. That will make her calm and doze to sleep.

@simplfred Devise a plan with her. Tell her that chocolates will be taken only one week before the school examinations. That is actually must be a "must" because chocolates speed up the brain while reviewing. The one week also helps her stomach adjust so that when you give her chocolate before the exam, she won't get diarrhea. You could tell her that eating chocolates often could cause diabetes, so, she eats chocolates only before and during exams.

My wife is kinda strict but I am the "just let her be" type of a parent as long as things are not too much.

I guess most talented and intelligent persons are stubborn since they feel they can do it on her own. I think there's a positive on that attitude since that could develop her independence in the future but there are times that it could also lead to something not good. So try to balance her out on that and hopefully you can tone that down a little for her betterment.
