So, you can actually get paid to receive junk mail..

Let me preface this by saying, atleast in the US and maybe Canada. If you've earned online (which, if your on this site, you have) you more than likely have received junk mail based off of things you've done for a little bit of money. There are services now that act like panel companies and will send you junk mail via your physical (residential) address. You then tell them what you got, when you got it, and you save it for a period of time. I'm not so sure that I will do this, I don't see the use in getting more junk mail, and I doubt you'd earn very much. However, I figured I'd share a site I found that talks about several different companies you can sign up for, and no I am not going to earn anything if you click on the link. You don't even have to click on the link at all if you don't want to. How much junk mail (either email or otherwise) do you receive a week?
I used to love getting the mail. When I was younger, a friend of mine moved away to Tennessee and we became pen pals. This was before the internet, let alone Facebook, so we'd write

I hope you find it worth your while. Oh, and as for that site we were talking about before with getting things? I think it might be hometestersclub, or atleast that is one

I didn't check the link, so not sure if this is the same thing. A survey company asked me to collect my junk mail for a year and send it in each month. It didn't result in any extra e-mail coming to me. Just collect what I already receive. I agreed but then kept forgetting to do it

This isn't a survey company, but individual companies, but yes same idea.

I was offered a few times to do this and I didn’t want to. They wanted all my bank account statements and bills etc. that’s to much personal information to be sending out in my opinion.

Oh wow, yes the one I found is different. THEY send YOU the junk mail. I would NOT be giving them my bank details for sure.

We receive junk mail a couple times a week as for junk mail in my emails I never really check it I will go there from time to time and delete them and make sure there is nothing in there that should have went to my inbox.

I don't really check my junk mail folder unless I had a verification code or something sent to my inbox and it didn't come. I do get some junk emails in my inbox, but I have mine set to the highest filter.

@Tina30219 Do you receive any through the mail though? With all those freebies, I figured you'd be getting some junk mail alongside it.

If I were living in the US and even if I could earn a good amount from it, I won't sign up. These days, I don't like giving my residential address except for banking purposes.

Apparently there is a German company that sends internationally, even so I agree with you. Giving out the residential address is just opening ourselves up to spam and other bad things.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Oh I get it, but yeah! It's a marketing strategy, you get paid but because of those mail you'll urge yourself to buy something that you like

@tech40 Yes, most likely, but I think some are just junk about medicines etc.

No. These companies send you junk mail and you have to record when it got to you and keep it for a period of time. They sometimes ask you to send it back to them, other times you can throw it away once they okay it. I think it's used for marketing purposes. For instance, Toys R US used to be a catalog we would get in the mail around Thanksgiving so that parents could look through and find potential products they want to buy their kids. If the mail comes too late, then it's less likely that the potential customer will use their store / brand.

I do not blame you. I am doubtful that anyone would earn enough, and there is enough waste of paper as it is.

I don't have that. Though it seems a passive way of earning via email, I don't think I will go for it. I am in doubt.

Yes, it would be such a passive way and would earn only pennies.
