A woman who owns a Pomeranian dog is thankful that an error that she made did not end in a tragic ending when Johnny Mathis (not the singer) managed to save the life of the dog who have seen either rubbed out or seriously injured when the leash of the dog was stuck between the elevator doors in an apartment complex in Houston Texas recently. Johnny was walking out of the elevator when he noticed the leash of the Pomeranian was too long when his owner walked inside the elevator with her dog on the outside. When the elevator doors closed and the elevator was ready to go up, Johnny acted on his instincts to take the leash out of the dog's neck before the dog would have rubbed out from having its head slammed on the top of the ground floor or choked to death. The owner of the dog managed to return the elevator to the ground floor where she cried tears of joy that thanks to the actions of Johnny to release the leash from the neck of her dog, the dog had his life spared. Johnny admitted that the owner of the dog simply hugged him and thanked him for his act of heroism. It is my pleasure to share these great stories of strangers saving the lives of either humans or animals.

John did save the life of that dog since he knows it was the right thing to do since he cares for that dog a lot like it was his own pet.

Thank goodness for Johnny's quick thinking. I love Pomeranians; and I'm so glad the dog's life was spared.

Johnny was at the right place at the right time. I am sure the owner of the dog will be his friend for life.

That's wonderful. I'm sure she's going to pay better attention to that leash in the future.

She will be more careful since she dodged a bullet due to an elevator that closed quicker than she expected.

Wow, how lucky that Johnny reacted so quickly or the little dog would have been killed for sure.

It was a very scary situation that the dog was outside of the elevator with the leash on his neck.

This is a very good act. And the person named Johnny acted wisely and showed his presence of mind. Such acts make us believe in the human values of love and compassion again among the oasis of hatred and jealousy.
