Christmas spirit surrounds me.

I am very happy, friends. Many things have happened to make this coming Christmas a wonderful one.
Tania was depressed yesterday, but after a nice evening decorating the tree while we sang (my throat hurts) she is happy again.
I´ll be happier when this throat stops hurting, but besides that, I´m in a very Christmassy mood.
Tania and Carolina will perform a sketch at Claudia´s on Christmas eve. I´ll make several dips for a wonderful Christmas dinner. As we are not many, we will eat fondue bourguignon.

I am trying to get the spirit and I know we will likely have a good dinner but other then that not much else I enjoy like having enough money to buy some gifts I would like to get at least for my immediate family is sad.

@marguicha oh thats sweet. The kids Jaely, Clay, her bf, and her daughter my grand daughter did put up last years tree but to me that looks sad

@bunnybon7 Ever since I became a widow (and retired) I didn´t have money for gifts. I make jams, pickles and relishes for everyone and buy a small little something (like pencils or the like) for the little ones. This year, as there are money problems in the country, the gift will be the Christmas dinner.

We won´t have presents this year. But we will all be together and do Christmassy things. Tania came today and decorated 2 tiny trees in my living room. They are so small that we placed them over the side tables. I took away the lamps and replaced them with the small tree lights.

I'm glad Tania is feeling better. I hope your throat gets better soon. Fondue sounds great. I'm thinking about cooking with my husband for our Christmas dinner.

Not really thinking about Christmas but I got an invitation to the Christmas party at the Centre, so I'm happy too.
