When a lot of us think of the image of Las Vegas, the first thoughts are the casinos and the entertainers who do shows at the casinos.
Recently a group of cowboys led by Cayden Cox assisted the Las Vegas Police to halt a crime in progress when three suspects allegedly stole a vehicle and were doing what they could to avoid being captured by the police.
Cox realized that something was wrong when he noticed a lot of police helicopters in the air and police cars blaring their signals.
The trio of car thieves would have gotten away from the police until Cox and 30 of his friends who were riding horses managed to surround the thieves so surrendered at the sight of the cowboys ready to use their lassos on them had they tried to escape by running away.
The cowboys stood around the three thieves until the Las Vegas Metro Police Department came to take the trio into custody.
I am sure that the police officers thanked Cox and his friends for assisting them in taking a band of car thieves.

The situation is a movie shooting in progress but it's in real life.

It amazes me that real life cowboys did their part to catch some car crooks.

@Nakitakona I know what you mean since I did spend some time in the countryside of Panama to visit my late grandma from time to time on weekends. Plenty of cowboys in that region.

It is odd to learn that real life cowboys are respected by the crooks around Las Vegas when the 30 cowboys surrounded the auto that was stolen to the point that the crooks gave up fast.

Even by Las Vegas standards, it is one unusual way for the cowboys to assist the police capture some crooks.
