An Old friend Called

Got a surprise phone call from an old friend. We have been friends since kindergarten. She stays in touch, but it has been awhile. Her life is very busy. She told me about yet another grandchild she has. She is very blessed. And she went by the cemetery for me and put flowers out for Dustin, Mom, Dad and my brother. My sister is buried in the state I live in. Her son is suppose to check on her grave. Very nice to hear from her out of the blue. A busy time for her and her large family. She always takes the time to call. Good to hear from her. Maybe we can get together after the holidays.

@CarolDM i'd similar with my cousin yesterday. spent o'er 4 hours'n the phone. she'd loads'n her heart'n mind. we, too, need to visit more oft. said she didn't know why she'd not called me sooner coz i 'lways lifter her spirits. jest the sound 'f her voice lifts mine :)

That's a great reunion by your kinder friend via phone. Yesterday I bumped with my post graduate classmate at the big Malls in the capital city. He's my buddy in 1991. He's already a retired classroom teacher.
