A Utah pawn shop manager saves a baby from falling down to the ground

A heroic act from a manager at a pawn shop in Utah

A manager at a pawn shop in Hurricane Utah was at the right place at the right time recently when two women were distracted talking to a clerk about a rifle that they were looking at. The manager of the pawn shop showed off his great reflexes by getting to the edge of the glass counter where the baby was on the edge of the glass when he fell down to the ground before the baby was caught in mid air. Had the manager or anyone not caught the baby in midair, the consequences of the baby falling down from the height of the glass counter to the floor would have suffered a serious injury from the impact of hitting the floor. The manager of the store returned the baby to the two women who were supposed to watch their child like a hawk. I can only hope that two women who were supposed to watch their child will learn their lesson to watch their children at all time when they are in public places. At least the pawn shop manager does show a heart of compassion for children inside of his store even though I am not sure if he has any children of his own or not. The good thing besides saving the child from a serious injury is that his store will get some nice publicity since the incident was caught on video.

I know what you mean since young children need to watch like hawks 24 hours a day.

I agree with you since the manager did admit that plenty of children come to his store everyday.

Those women must be idiots to leave a baby unattended on a glass counter.

@Deepizzaguy Another one of your good stories George. Good for the manager for making sure the baby did not hit the ground. That is great that his store will get some nice publicity.
