A female dog that was wandering on the streets of Philadelphia who now goes by the name Suzy is lucky that a door was open outside of the home of Jack Jokinen and his wife. Call it Divine Intervention that the front door of the Jokinen residence was blown open by the winds from a storm that hit the area on Saturday overnight around 3am. Jack and his wife went downstairs to find a pacifier for their baby when they saw the puppy inside their home. The Jokinens decided to visit a veterinarian to check If the stray dog had been reported lost by her previous owner. Since the dog was not microchipped, they had clearance to adopt Suzy who is suffering from various illnesses due to her time on the streets as a stray dog. The Jonkinens are asking the public for assistance in helping them pay their veterinarian bills to restore Suzy back to being healthy again. The family is happy that Christmas came early for them as they have adopted a stray dog that was close to suffering a tragic ending in the streets of Philadelphia.

@Deepizzaguy The dog was very lucky that she entered the right home. I hope Suzy will get the medical she needs and will be ok.

I am sure that through the Go Fund Me website, Suzy will have the best care of her life so her owners can pay their medical bills to the veterinarian.

It reminds me of how our family adopted the seven cats in our home. Three of them were adopted after their late mom gave birth, one cat came from a couple that could not afford to keep their cat, one cat was a gift from a cat dealer in Lake Charles and the youngest cat was a stray cat who came to get some food.

That is true since how many dogs get adopted by a loving family these days? Not many if any.
