While we're together, we might as well say, won't you be, please won't you be my neighbor. Tom Hanks plays Fred Rogers in A Beautiful Day. He should be nominated for an Oscar. The man who played Lloyd Vogel should also be nominated for supporting lead. If you haven't seen this movie yet, I fully recommend it. It will tear at your heartstrings and I guarantee, whatever problems you went in with, won't be there when you leave. A Beautiful Day is based on the true story of Mr. Fred Rogers. Parts have been fictionalized, but that's okay. You won't know which ones are or aren't. This is the story about one of America's heroes and a reporter assigned to write about him.
