Flowers to Brighten the Day

Looking back through my photo archives and came across this bright photo.
Lantana blooms in my spring garden. I love all the colors in this plant.
I thought we could all use a little day brightener perhaps. I know I sure could. It is cold and windy outside. The cats are, of course, napping the day away.
Got some things done, calls made, and now sharing this photo with you.

I used to have huge blooms of lantana around my mailbox. You could see the beautiful colors a mile down the road. I always joked to the mailman that he could never miss my house!

@CarolDM I don’t know how it is in your area, but my lantana plants seemed like they were in bloom over half the year!

gorgeous! thanks fer sharin' this beautiful pic, hon. i've been lookin' through mine, too. somethin' i tend to do when the chill 'n many shades 'f brown seem to be winnin'.
no ma'am, nothin' fun. the hubs did pull interference with the folks 'cross the road though. ragin' hormones 'f a 14 year ol' 'n an oer'bearin' father 're not goin' well... he got 'em calmed down. i find 't quite interestin' how he's the peacemaker these days with strangers coz he 'twas brutal here't home :(

@CarolDM they're jest gorgeous! oddly they don't do well here? e'en though the lil tags says they'll thrive'n our dry heat, lol.
perhaps? could be jest tryin' to pull the wool o'er those folks eyes. that'd be what narcissists do, so i've read. regardless, if'n 't helps out that young'un, i'm all fer 't. i've told him'n the past (the young'un) that he's welcome here any time'f the day/night, our door 'tis 'lways open. i sure worry 'bout him.

@crazyhorseladycx Sometimes the heat can get to some of the plants.
I feel for you and having to deal with a narcissist, I have had a few in my lifetime. One is enough! I hope the teen will feel welcome to come to your home.

I am not fond of flowers but my wife never forgets to buy fresh flowers in the Sunday market. She is a flower lover.
