Long Wait at the Bank

Yesterday my eldest daughter drove me to the bank. I thought that it was just a quick and short appointment but I was wrong. My ATM card was blocked by the bank and I only discovered it few days ago. When I called the hotline. I was told that it was blocked by the bank due to some suspicious activities online. I was also advised that its going to be easy to go to the bank and unblock it.
There were too many people inside the bank and there were a lot of cars causing traffic outside. I decided to walk in and asked my daughter to wait while looking for a parking space. My number was called after an hour of waiting!
I was given a short explanation of how it happened and asked to fill up a form. The teller told me to wait because they would process it. I thought that its going to be easy but hell NO! I waited for my name to be called after more than an hour!
It almost ruined my whole day but my daughter was good at cheering me up. Poor service indeed!

Is your bank Landbank? My atm was also blocked early this month for the same reason as yours. It took so long for the card to be replaced.

Yes it is. I did not wait for another day. It was processed in a day but it took hours for me to get a new one back. They replaced it with a regular atm now which I cannot use anymore for online transactions. I am better with that.

It's a normal thing with banks lately, it's because of the Christmas rush. I spent more than 1hour at the bank yesterday consideribg that we are even priority client.

@cherigucchi I agree with you. Banks should compete with best service rather than. Interest rates.
