It's always a school, and rarely a mall.

That is, when I get lost / stuck / locked in to a place. On occasion it's also an elevator / lift. Actually, the most often is a school, second it's an elevator and third it's a mall.
What am I talking about? The locations of places that I either get lost / stuck / locked into a place within my dreams.
Last night it was a school. A very nice, almost Victorian looking college of sorts. I don't recall much of the dream other than it was dark. I was surrounded by people that I should have known, but I only knew a few of them. We were in some sort of danger / trouble and it seemed like only a few of us realized this fact. We took it upon ourselves to be the leaders of the group of us, and tried to survive as best we could.
This wasn't a nightmare, but it certainly wasn't a good dream either.
Do you ever dream of being locked into places? Or lost?

No, I don't think so. I know I was vividly dreaming last night...but I don't remember the topic.

I hate when that happens to me. I can recall it was vivid, but can't recall the topic!

Nope but in reality I was locked three times in a building, in a water pump house and in a mall toilet.

I've been locked in places in reality as well, I think that's why I dream of these places, because I've been locked in them before.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Practically they're the flashbacks of your past experiences.

No, I don’t normally dream of being trapped/lost/locked in places. Maybe because I’ve traveled so much this year a lot of my dreams involve traveling. And, oddly, one or both of my parents (both deceased, and divorced 30 years ago) will show up in my dreams.

I've had dreams of my deceased relatives as well, and they are usually alive and well until I realize that they are deceased. In these travel dreams, are they places you have been, or simply places you wish you could go?

@FourWalls You must have been hungry when you were having that dream!

@ScribbledAdNauseum — usually places I’ve been. And weird things in places I’ve been (like a McDonald’s in Cades Cove in the Smokies
).

Count yourself lucky, these dreams come up because of stress for me.

That is good, it's a terrifying feeling when you dream of being locked in somewhere.

@happylife1 That is very terrifying. Did you wake up still frightened and thinking you were on top of the mountain?
