Home Repair Update 12/20/19

On the way home last night from my doctor's appointment and Red Lobster we stopped at the other house. The sump pump was still running; but the other sump pump is broken. We have to exchange it. The heat is still not turned on in the house. Fortunately it's going to warm up a little next week. I don't know what my husband is waiting for...the basement and furnace have dried out.
Oh well. I will see if I can get him to agree to have someone come and start emptying out the house. Spring is coming fast (I wish!); and I don't want to have to pay for yard maintenance along with the utilities and taxes.
Do you have any home projects that you're working on or are having done?

A question: have you looked into one of those “we buy houses” or “house flipper” companies who claim to buy houses in “any condition”? Or do they just want to give you $250 or so for the house?
The bathroom was enough for me in terms of remodeling!!!

The bathroom is a big project! Ours needs redoing. Yes, they offer very low amounts. If I win the lottery, I'm going to call one and take whatever they offer! lol

There is plenty to fix in my house but as I am renting and it's my parents' other house there is nothing I can do.
