Phone Call and Misunderstandings

Phone texts are convenient. But they can be taken the wrong way. Phone calls are much better. However, I had a call earlier that didn't go so well.
This friend and I had a disagreement. I voiced my opinion. She voiced hers, loudly. And that was that. There was no talking after that point. I told her I understood and respected our differences. Nobody will agree all the time about everything.
Apparently that was not good enough. The phone call ended. Abruptly.
Oh well, sometimes you learn in different ways who your friends really are I guess.
Have a good day everyone. Overcast and chilly here. Nice and quiet.
Watching the birds. They are good friends.

That sounds like it was very stressful and upsetting. I'm sorry that happened. It's clear to me that you handled the disagreement in a mature way but your friend didn't.
Something similar happened a couple of years ago between me and a long-time friend. A month ago, she texted to apologize. I accepted her apology but our friendship will never be the same.
