I spent a few minutes doing some tidying of my bedroom today. I still have quite a bit left to tidy, but the tidying has helped me to better visualize how my rearranging plans will go. I've also just considered moving my dresser to another wall instead of the the closet, but I will have to consider that some more before I actually go to the trouble of moving it.
I've also just realized that I literally stuck the roku sensor on my dresser and will have to remove it and re-adhere it to wherever I end up putting my television. Hmm.
Anyway, I am enjoying getting things sorted and thought I'd take a break to watch a youtube video or two and get on mylot for a bit. I'll do some more straightening / throwing away of things.
No pictures yet, but I do intend to take some when all is said and done, which will require me to wait until I get bookshelves and get them assembled.
I do have a question or two asking for your opinions / how you would do somethings.
1) I know that not everyone reads, however how would you / have you arranged boks, dvds, or cds I need ideas.
2) Have you ever affixed lights to a bookshelf or entertainment center and if so, what brand / type did you use and do you like your choice? If not, do you have any recommendations for someone who intends to do this?

I have a tall bookcase where all my books go. I used to have scads more but over the years I've done away with so many of them. The shopping channels have some round LED lights with adhesive on the back that you can put anywhere you want.

I know that my hope is to have two or three books deep (On one shelving unit I have two books deep) and so I have t take that into consideration as well. I think putting tallest to shortest would be aesthetically pleasing, and I might try to manage that while also categorizing them. I have quite a few books and plan on expanding my collection as it makes me happy.
Can I ask, is your bookshelf three shelves, four shelves, or five shelves tall?

@ScribbledAdNauseum The bottom half is like a cabinet, and the top half is four shelves on each side, with a total of 8 shelves.

@AmbiePam Ah okay, that sounds like a nice piece of furniture. I'm only looking to spend $30.00 or so per bookcase, so I'll probably have to stick to a plain old bookcase.

I wish I could help or offer some thought.
However, unfortunately at this moment, I am laid out on the sofa and like a lazy tortoise.

Someone else had suggested doing it by size. I will want to categorize them as well, so it may not be possible. I will have to see, as I like the idea of arranging them by size.
