First Time to Having Family Christmas Dinner
It's Christmas Day and some parts of our country are heavily devastated by a strong December Typhoon Ursula.
Inspite of that stormy weather our youngest son, my junior invited us to have a dinner outside especially to our favorite restaurant.
My wife, my grandson. my youngest son and his wife ate our hearty dinner past 8 in the evening.
This is the first time that we eat our dinner during Christmas Day outside our humble home.
Have you done it also eating a dinner outside your home during Christmas Day?

I completely agree that a dinner with the family in full attendance is a nice feeling regardless if there is an occasion or not.

@Nakitakona that means you have the family day's out every Sunday. You need a budget for eating out but I guess it is worth it.

@Alexandoy We do share. We set aside for that. The budget we spend for that day is the same when we eat at our own house. We don't eat to an expensive resto.

That's it. But sometimes we couldn't get together for they're far. In a special occasion we try our best to come together especially Christmas Day and New Year.

Same with us but we're lucky that there's one or two eateries are opened.

We usually get together at family's home and it's a potluck. But now most have passed, so we don't celebrate the holidays so I'm on my own for the holidays. I get things ready for a nice meal for the holidays. Got my sparkling cider for new years to stand in place of champagne!

Thankfully, they do. I take out pictures and go to church and bring flowers to the family niche too at times. Life goes on.
