Signing Off/Cold/TV 12/27/19

Well, folks, I'm all done here and I think I will sign off for the night. I'm feeling a bit better than I did last night. I will watch some TV and just take it easy.
Seems like there are a lot of people sick right now. Stomach flu, flu, colds, bronchitis...I was fortunate that I just felt blah on Christmas. I didn't get really sick until yesterday.
Everyone stay well; and I will see you back here on Saturday.
What is everyone doing this evening/or morning?

I just found out yesterday that a co-worker that I had been in close quarters with the whole morning has a sick kid who was just diagnosed with the flu. The real flu. Which means my co-worker was exposed to it, which means I was exposed to it. I woke up feeling achy and congested this morning. I did have my flu shot this year, so I'm hoping I just maybe caught a cold when I was at Disney World last week and not the flu from being around my co-worker yesterday!
Glad to hear you are feeling slightly better. Each day from here on out should be an improvement!

I hope you don't have the flu. The flu shot can't protect you from all strains. I had the flu during the pandemic in the 60s; and I was sick for 2 weeks...really bad. Keep us posted.

@LindaOHio So far I'm holding up pretty well. Haven't gotten any worse, mostly just a really bad headache. But it might just be sinus-related with this warm-front that's over us now bringing lots of rain.

I am thankful that I was able to collect more than 1,000 points during surveys on Survey Junkie so I can get money placed in my bank early next week.

I did some major cleaning of my driveway, and oh did I pay for it in pain last night. So I didn’t do much except suffer.

It seems like everyone is sick. I hope the flu that's going around is a strain that is protected by the flu shot.
