December 27 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm about to get off the computer for the day. It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for being pain-free today. It was great to wake up and move without wondering if I would need my cane after all. It sits dusty on the side of my bed just in case. Praise God, I didn't need it today.
I'm thankful for all of you. You make my day, every day. I love interacting with you and learning what you're doing with your day.
I'm thankful for the Christmas card I got in the mail yesterday and took out of my box this morning from @Elizaby. Thank you so much.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. More research than actual writing. However, the research is as important or more important than the writing. I learned something today and will need to make changes when I get to that point in the story. I did some minor editing as I read. I really like the story and where it's headed. The talk I had a few nights ago with my main character did a lot of good in shaping this story and getting it on track.
I'm thankful I got the trash out. I'm a huge procrastinator about a lot of things. I'm so happy it was only a one-day procrastination this time for the garbage.
I'm thankful for leftovers. I made my favorite turkey dish today. I take the meat off the bird and add in the dressing and heat it through. It's delicious. It's something I started doing several years ago.
Growing up I never liked the stuffing. It was too dry and tasted gross. When I started making stuffing, I knew I needed to make a moist dressing or I wouldn't be able to eat it either. I make it with apples, celery, mushrooms, and onion. I usually add raisins too, but I forgot them this year. The apples make it nice and moist and it really is good. So, when you add that mixture with the breadcrumbs of course, to the turkey, it makes for a very tasty dish.
I'm thankful for the insurance debit card I got in the mail that allows me to buy health products at Walgreens. I heard about this option but didn't realize it was part of my plan.
I don't know how much I'll use it other than the Ibuprofen I buy a couple of times a year. We'll see. Though I did see I could buy a food scale with it. That will come in handy.
I'm finished with my notifications for the second time and am going to go turn on the TV and find something to watch.
What are you thankful for today? I hope you had a good day. Thanks for reading.

Your stuffing sounds interesting. I make mine with cornbread, celery and onions, sage for the main seasoning, mine is moist because I make sure it is, LOL.
I want to try oyster dressing/stuffing.

@just4him I have ate oysters before, raw, fried, baked... well , every way except stuffing.
I would love to try your stuffing, a burst of flavor in every bite I can bet.

@Tampa_girl7 It's manageable. Though I don't think I'll be on the computer for long. My shoulder started bothering me a lot a couple of weeks ago. The longer I'm on the computer, the more it hurts. I'm holding my right arm in right now as I type to alleviate some of the pain. It makes me wonder if I have shoulder replacement in my future along with knee replacement.

I am thankful the sun came out today, glad to be able to write up my goals for 2020, and I am glad I got a payment from one of my sites today.

That's great the sun came out. I don't know if the sun came out yesterday. I'm not expecting it until sometime next week. Maybe New Year's Day. Getting your goals written down is a good plan. That way you have a plan for the year. I still need to do mine. It's awesome you got paid from one of your sites.

I am thankful that I was able to reach my goal of getting 1,000 points on Survey Junkie to get my $10 bank payment that will be coming around New Year's Day.
I am also thankful that a check for a survey company is coming from Minnesota to my mailbox next week before the end of this year.
