We have a big mural like that in down town Petaluma, too--it depicts the "chicken and egg" history of the town.

I always hate it when communities do these. To me it seems to cheapen the area and never looks as good as what the people who do them and allow them think. When I see communities with murals, for me it is usually a reminder to lock the doors and roll up the windows.
