There is something nice to learn that the reputation of bus drivers in Milwaukee County is that they have a heart of compassion to assist a child or an animal who gets lost on the roads while the bus driver is on their route. About ten days ago around midnight, Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus driver Jaime Grabowski saw a Doberman Pinscher and a Pit Bull who are male puppies running on a road when she stopped her bus and opened the door to invite the two dogs inside to take them for a ride. Jaime contacted the other dispatchers to inform them that she had two male puppies inside her bus. A Milwaukee police officer then arrived to take the dogs to the Milwaukee Domestic Animal Control Commission where it was determined that the two dogs had fled their home when Jaime picked them up. The owners of the two dogs then went to pick up their two lost dogs and reunite with them. To make this story even sweeter, they managed to meet Jaime in person and thank her for her care of their dogs that has them worried that something bad was going to happen to them. It is a good deal that Jaime loves dogs since she did what is right by picking up the two stray dogs and find a way to reunite them with their owners safe and sound.

Dog owners should be more responsible, I wonder how those dogs got lost.

@Deepizzaguy It is against the law here, a dog could also become aggressive and attack a human.

I agree with you since allowing a dog to roam free at night does not always result in the dog coming home safe.

@LadyDuck That is true since many dogs will attack a human if the dog sees the human invade his or her area.

That was very good for her to do that.

It helps that Jaime loves dogs a lot to make sure that the dogs could be reunited with their owners that same evening.

I agree with you since in another small town like Lake Charles, a bus would not be on the road at midnight since they finish their runs around 6pm local time.

That is true since the odds of finding a wandering on the streets at midnight by a bus driver are slim.

Jaime likes dogs which is one reason that she took in the two dogs so they could be found by their owners later that evening.

It is a wonderful story since the bus driver was ready to go home at midnight when she saw the two dogs on the street.

Sorry for being inquisitive with your posts. Again, a question in my mind is about how those 2 puppies got lost. Isn't that a very irresponsible pet owner?

It is most likely an owner who must have left the gate open for the dogs to run loose by accident around the evening hours.
