Is it possible to earn almost $2000 from home?

My mother has a friend. She told her that someone she knows earns almost $2000 online. She works from home. This seems too good to be true. She uses Amazon. She works 8 hours per day and she also has free days. I will contact her to know more, but I think it sounds too good to be true. It's hard to believe that someone can earn that much. I earn $30 per month online or maybe $60.

Anything is possible, but there are always stipulations to things like that. She may have been hired on by a company, and she may have to do a lot of work to earn that much. People can make good money online. I view a group on reddit occasionally and there is a guy there that has to work from home because of his health and he makes a substantial amount BUT he uses a lot of sites to make that work.

@dya80dya He may very well be on mylot, but I doubt it. The sites he uses are available to the US, so most of them are surveys, or video watching, doing tasks etc.

Being in the country I am in it would seem a bit far fetched and I suppose it would be good to talk with her and see what she is doing and how she does it perhaps she sells something on there that a lot of people want good luck with that.

I am guessing they work for a company that is set up to work at home instead of in the office.
My dad worked out of home as a real estate agent.
People pet sit and do child care at home.
I know a tax preparer who works at home.
Our investment managers work at home. They also meet clients in their homes.
I've known hair dressers who work from home.
I don't believe just using random websites can earn someone $2000 per month. And it would be very boring to try IMHO

I was earning $300 a month, working 6-7hrs a day doing surveys. This was about 10 years ago, when surveys were legitimate. Now, scammers have ruined that opportunity and that's no longer the case. At the most, I make $25 a month, if I work hard at it.

It IS possible, but it depends on what one is doing. If she is running a business through Amazon it is ENTIRELY possible, It's certainly not going to be a get rich quick kind of a thing, and in order to make a living you will definitely need to have a certain level of skill and or know-how to actually make a living at it. Whatever it may be.
The kinds of things we do online would not make that kind of money.

I know of some people who really makes a living online. They work as virtual assistant and they make as much money like you mentioned.
