Thursday's Rude Awakening

The dreaded alarm clock went off before 5 am to get my *darling* hubby up for work. At which time, *darling* hubby hit snooze. Second alarm goes off 15 minutes later and *darling* hubby hits snooze again.
I was still awake from alarm number 1 going off. I didn't get out of bed right then but knew this would be a morning that I might as well get up and have some coffee. On the third round of alarms, I told him to get up, it was almost 6 am and he was going to be late if he didn't get up. This did the trick and coffee was made a few minutes later.
This is when I got up and got my laptop and propped up in bed. I asked for a cup of coffee when he went to fix his and it was delivered piping hot!
It is several hours later now and guess what? I'm feeling awful sleepy, so I am going to take a nap before mom wakes up.
Is this the way to start out 2020? Not really, but its happening. It has been raining since the wee hours of the morning and supposed to rain all day, so a nap is a bit fitting for today, but more so for later in the day. Oh well!!

@crazyhorseladycx He hits them in his sleep subconsciously. He goes to sleep before 9 pm every night so he gets his sleep. He is still having nerve damage pain from his diabetes. I think it may be time for a new diabetes dr.

My hubby was never too bad about the snooze while he was still working. I am glad as I would have got mad.

I had a scare this morning when I rolled over and looked at the time on my smartphone (I use that as my alarm clock). It said 5:45am, which sent me into a panic because I get up for work at 4am to be there at 5. Turns out, I had grabbed my old cell phone, which I still keep charged and turned on even though it doesn't have data service. But it still does have wi-fi, so it becomes an extra for me if my battery is low on my current phone. Anyway, the phone must have went belly up during the night, because the date on the phone is stuck on May 18, 2017. Anyway, the mini heart attack I had this morning from thinking I was going to be late woke me up ten times more than any coffee ever would have! lol

Hahaha I'm like you, I wake up with only 1 alarm and I can't go back to sleep after that, I do end up getting sleepy later too

. Lack of sleep makes the day harder.
