I can't think of a better title than that, but I've said before that I'm not good with titles lol. Today would've been my Daddy's 70th birthday. I'm wearing my Lung Cancer Awareness hoodie from @Courtlynn and her Mom (once again, thank you so much), in honor of my Daddy. I think of him every day, but especially today. I logged into Twitter to find another one of my close friends sent her well wishes even before I could tweet, and that meant a lot to me that she had remembered. I never felt anyone was obligated to remember it, so that was nice that she did. I appreciate the support people have shown my family today. But yeah, I think I’ll listen to “American Pie” by Don McLean before the night is over. My Daddy liked that song, and it makes me think of my childhood in the 90’s, riding in the front seat of the old-school station wagon, between Mom and Dad, and this song would come on the radio. And then, I'm gonna listen to "Wildest Dreams" by The Moody Blues, as Daddy's the one who introduced me to that song and the band. Sooo, I wrote in my journal last night before going to bed, and then I stupidly used the last percentage of my tablet on apps. It's dead now though, and it's going to stay that way until I go to bed. I'll be charging it overnight, away from me. I'm doing a mixture of working on Textbroker orders and proofreading my Fiverr orders tonight. I'll probably wind up working on Saturday or Sunday, but that's fine. I pretty much took off on Monday, it evens out. I just want to get my Textbroker orders up before the payout cut-off later tonight. I can focus more on Fiverr tomorrow, but I at least want to proofread 5/10 orders tonight, and I'll do the other half at some point tomorrow. I think I'm gonna look for a daily planner, so I don't always have to get online to stay on track. I've found weekly/monthly planners, but I think I'd do better with a daily one, for tasks, goals, etc. I do have a journal, but I want something with the areas ready for me, you know? If I don't find one I like, I'll just continue to use my journal, or I'll get another notebook to use as a planner. I'm giving it time though, I just decided the other day that I want one, and I've only been to Target since then. They have some cute printables for daily planners on Pinterest, but that's a lot of printing. Anyways, enough rambling from this girl. I have other things to do online before calling it a night. You all have a good night/morning and take care. :) Photo Credit: I snapped this picture in my "Lung Cancer Awareness" hoodie last week. It says "I Wear White For My Dad".

I love the picture. I hope you find a planner you like. I know you were especially close to your father. I hope you got everything done before payout.

Thank you SO much! I think I may have to get a weekly planner for now, and I'll get a daily one when I come across it. And thank you so much. I got everything done, thank you.

@just4him Thank you so much! I found a daily one. I bought it on Friday, and then I started filling it in yesterday and today. It's like a journal and planner rolled into one; it even has a section each day for "Gratitude and Good Thoughts". :)

@tammys85 I'm glad you got it all done. A weekly will work until you find the daily.

Your dad must have had you quite late in life. That hoodie is such a wonderful gift! How nice someone remembered what day it was an tweeted. I love the song American Pie too. I buy the daily planners at the Dollar tree.

@tammys85 they are all in the same box you just have to look through them. This is mine. The only thing that sucks is Saturday and Sunday don’t have much room to write. There’s only 3 lines for those days. This is the photo of mine. I’ve been buying them there for about 10 years.

I'll be 35 next Saturday, so my parents were my age when they had me, but I'm also the fourth of five children. It really is, and I appreciate it so much! Same with my other friend remembering it. It's a good song. :) I've only seen the weekly and monthly planners, but that section was sort of a mess at this Dollar Tree. I'll have to see if I can get to another one next weekend.

@shaggin Oooh. See, I've seen some on Pinterest, with pages dedicated to each day, and sections such as "to-do, tasks, gratitude, notes" etc... but maybe I can ONLY find those as printables. I may just grab one of those weekly planners from the Dollar Tree until I can get a daily one. I did see a few student planners that were cute at the Dollar Tree. I'm not a student, but oh well, I'm a student of getting my stuff together.

We just talked today with my grandson that in my generation we were not aware that smoking was bad for our health. I smoked inside my house for decades and was very proud of my beautiful ashtrays. When I quit smoking, I had to paint the whole house and wash all my clothes

Right. My Mom has been smoke free for about a year and two months, so I'm grateful that she finally quit. Maybe you can use your ashtrays for something else (i.e., candy dish)?

@tammys85 I have used them in many ways but they looked better as ashtrays.

We saw the hoodie online and right away knew it would be the perfect gift. Although we wish you didn't need one like that.. It's good to get a planner to keep up woth your goals and what not. Especially incase you dont feel like going online one day, for whatever reason.

Thank you so much, I love it! I've worn it several times already, including tonight when I went out. I wish I didn't need to buy Lung Cancer Awareness stuff, period, as it took my Dad, Aunt and Grandmother. That's one reason why I want it, for the days I'm not online. I want a daily one, but if I don't find one soon (as I've been unsuccessful), then I may just have to settle with a weekly one. I did find a cute weekly student planner at the Dollar Tree tonight. I mean, I'm not a student, but I don't care lol.

You are lucky you had your dad with you for so long and I am sorry for your loss. I lost mine when I was just 10 and I still miss him every day. I love the photo. You know that our dads are forever beside us and watching over us. Virtual hugs.

I completely understand how you feel about your dad. Jan 2, this was two years since my dad passed. My daughter and I have experienced a whirlwind of emotions. It was like going we went through losing him all over again. This is why we have to cherish and invest in our loved ones.
