WHAT WAS YOUR BIG EXPENSE ON JANUARY 2020

It was the night of New Year Celebration when I received a text reminding me the amount I had to pay for my phone and internet bills. I paid it immediately after a day although the due date was still on the 16th of January. But that was not all. On the 2nd day of January, we made a visit to the dentist for the tooth extraction of my son. The dentist said that he needed cleaning as well. She also made a tooth xray before doing the procedure hoping to save the tooth. The result was the tooth needed to be extracted plus there are teeth which needed to be filled. I only asked one tooth to be filled because I believed he had enough procedures already. It did cost me a lot! But I knew that my kid needed it so I am okay with that.

I know that it costs a lot to fix a cavity, but if you do not the cavity will attack other teeth.

@cherigucchi I have to go to see my dentist on Thursday, he has to pull out my wisdom tooth, to take care of a cavity to the last molar. Unfortunately this has to be done.

None for me. I'm not really expecting unreasonable expenses this year. I also keep track on everything(bills, usage, grocery, etc.) cause I don't like surprises.

The first full week of January barely started so I really don't have any big expense yet and I intend to keep it like that. I'm not including my credit card and mortgage payments since those are recurring costs. Hope that your son feels better now.

So far my big expenses are the renewal of my professional membership to the board that I got my certification, as well as membership fees for my local chapter. But I would like to consider these as investments as I need the certification and updates as necessary for my work.

Our car is due for preventive maintenance on the 21st. That's probably the biggest expense so far.

The biggest expense for past three months are my medicines. The visit to doctor is again tough on pocket. But hopefully all this wind up soon and I will get back to my normal budget. By the way- Dentist's visits are sure to make big bills....
