Evening, it's raining here now in my place, that's why it's cold here. Every time I'm going to bed I look first to my Facebook account, so when I scrolling it I saw my friends post their photo with their photoshoot. Because they are all freelance model. When I'm single we are both applying to become a freelance model, but in a bad thing happen I just stop because my parents not allowed me for that, because they think I wouldn't have good future for that job. Because we have know someone that freelance model is their job but they are nothing to have now. I feel sorry for them. So because of that I'm not continue to apply . But it's okay for me because that time I got a good work and I had big salary and it's enough to help my parents. And I'm happy for it no more regrets, and because of that work I meet my husband now, and we have 4 year old son and I'm very happy now

You made the right choice!
I used to teach modeling and etiquette class shortly after I was married. I had a wonderful career as a teacher at the time, so did it after school twice a week.
After I had my children and was a stay at home mom, I modeled here and there. It just fell into my lap and I loved it. Later on, I ran modeling shows for various organizations. A model’s career is short lived.

I think you chose wisely. You have a good job, a wonderful husband, and a beautiful son. That's more important than trying to be a model.

I have a few friends who were models in their youth, but it was not a long lasting profession. Stability is so important - especially these days and when we are older and have our own families - we are much happier when we do not have to struggle in our professions.

Just saying, you are a grown woman and can make your own decisions. I think I can get the gist of what your parents are saying. I mean, becoming a successful model is tough. It's a tough business that only a very small select group of people will actually go anywhere with. So it is best to have a career that supports you while you pursue this on the side.
Ultimately while your parents may mean well, they have no business telling you what you can and cannot do anymore.

@resukill22 Well, that's what matters ultimately. If your choice was yours ultimately that's what counts. I was under the impression you may have enjoyed it and wanted to go after the opportunity. But if you don't, even better that you are doing something else you DO want to do.
