Two countdowns — one for country, one for rock — of songs with “love” in the title will take us to Valentines Day. It will also make for some VERY interesting mixes, almost as if there’s no way both songs can be on the same iPod. Case in point, today.....
Brand New Lover - Dead or Alive
And, if that Eddy Arnold song a few days ago left a bad taste in your mouth, put this song on. You’ll be dancing for an hour or two.
GREAT 80s alternative/synth pop/new wave. Whatever you want to call it, it’s a terrific song. It’s one of Dead or Alive’s best-known songs, and one of those songs that’ll stick in your head for a few days. In a good way.

Wow, I didn't know the song by title so I had to check out the video and then I remembered the song. To each their own but I thought it was a cringe worthy song (video) then and it has not changed for me. I don't much care for that music and why is that guy wearing more make up than most women I know? Why is he sitting on a horse singing, does that have anything to do with the song? Some videos were just so weird.2 people like this

I know. Some videos just ruined a song for me. I’d probably like Pat Benatar’s “Love is a Battlefield” if it wasn’t for that stupid video.

@FourWalls LOL, yea there were some crazy videos, like what the heck was going on in The Talking Heads video for Once in a Life Time? That was the first video my dad seen on MTV and he was not happy that he was spending money to see this kind of stuff.
