Do you use knockoff recipes?

I took a bit of a break from writing to get dinner started. Tonight's a Chipotle knockoff night here; I'm making a pot of black beans, and I have London broil and chicken drumsticks marinating in the fridge now. I'll either need to run out to the store or have my husband stop for tortillas and a head of lettuce, but the majority of the actual work is done now. The recipes I used aren't exactly the same as Chipotle's, but they're still very good. I love finding and using knockoff recipes because eating out gets to be way too expensive.

I cook all the time. I usually use recipes from cookbooks but I have looked up a copycat one a few times.

I used to use cookbooks all the time. I just realized that I boxed them up when we were preparing to move last year... and still haven't unboxed them yet! I've found a lot of new recipes to use online in that time, though.

I subscribe to a few different magazines just for the recipes they include.
