He is an American radio and TV personality and author. The "shock jock" had his own show, The Howard Stern Show, from 1986 to 2005. In 2004 he reportedly was offered a 5-year deal with Sirius XM Satellite Radio for $400-500 million which included production costs and salaries for Stern and his staff.
