We Dodged That Bullet

We did experience some nasty weather. (Hubby isn't happy about the ice on the driveway!)
Fortunately our power never waivered so we weren't inconvenienced. Church was cancelled and I think everyone in our community hunkered down to wait out the storm.
Tomorrow promises to be a better day

God spared me, a couple miles down the road, winds they say, ripped off roofs sending the across the roads. Downed trees.

I'm sorry to hear you had such nasty weather. It was so nice here I went hiking. There are so many things I love about this quilt block... The flower with buttons seen on, the barn and silo, the adorable squirrel

i'd not been happy with that ice either, though most grateful to've come through that storm most unscathed 'n with power. 'tis good folks didn't venture out, most dangerous bein' out'n those roads.
hope ya do start thawin', each day gettin' warmer'n warmer. seems to be'n odd winter all 'round the globe.
love this block, too! i might need to take me a road trip 'n learn the magic 'f applique. the schtuff haunts me like the plague, lol.

It's good that you need not go out on such a bad weather. If there is snow or ice on the road, that would be a scary ride.
